The Valais is a world famous destination for its incredible ski spots in the Alps. During the summer season or as soon as the snow melts, this essentially mountainous region becomes an infinite playground for mountain bike enthusiasts with an incredible diversity of natural trails.

We take you to the most beautiful mountain bike spots that make the Valaisan Alps famous, between Verbier, Val d'Anniviers, Loeche les Bains, Aletsch Arena and more. A 7days mountain biking safari in a relaxing holiday atmosphere to soak up Swiss culture, enjoy spectacular scenery and make the most of the exceptional downhill runs.

Assisted by our shuttle bus and/or the ski lifts, you will do a maximum of descent accompanied by our local guide for a 100% Enduro mountain biking trip.

PROGRAM

WELCOME OF THE PARTICIPANTS

On this first day we welcome you to our charming hotel in Saillon. You will meet your guide and riding partners during a welcome drink and we will also take the time to assemble and check your bikes for this crazy week of riding.

LEUKERBAD

DISTANCE : 60 km A + : 1100 m D- : 4200 m

Today we are heading for the spa village of Loeche-les-Bains, which is located in the middle of an impressive rocky arena. An extensive network of enduro trails has been laid out on the sunny slopes of the mountain, each with its own beautiful route.

Leukerbad is the local flowtrail paradise where you can ride at speed and in a relaxed manner. But there are also beautiful technical trails in the forest with all the natural obstacles that we like so much, roots, scree and beautiful hairpins to negotiate.

You will discover local curiosities such as the gigantic parabolas of Loeche and a burnt forest offering a very strange landscape.

VAL D'HERENS - VAL D'HEREMENS

DISTANCE : 55 km A+ : 300 m D- : 4900 m

Direction the beautiful valleys of Val d'Hérens and Val d'Hérémens for a 100% shuttle enduro day. Comfortably installed in the shuttle, we leave for a series of the most beautiful trails of the valley with more than 5000 negative meters cumulated on the day.

ALTESCH ARENA

DISTANCE :40 km A+ : 350 m D- : 4200 m

We will travel to the Upper Valais for another incredible day in the Swiss Alps. Open your eyes to the splendid panoramas of the Aletsch Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Between perfectly shaped flowtrails, technical singletracks on fast boulders and players in the forest, you will live a real mountain bike experience.

You will ride on an alpine ridge with a breathtaking panorama of the glacier and the 4000m peaks of the Valais, and you will ride downhill on superb descents plunging into the valley through pretty hamlets or close to the sea of ice.

ALTESCH ARENA

DISTANCE : 35 km A+ : 500 m D- : 4300 m

Today we take you to our favourite destination in the Valais: the Val d'Anniviers. A region full of history for mountain biking with the arrival of the very famous Grand Raid Cristalp in the village of Grimentz.

It is a huge playground that we will explore with the help of the ski lifts between the 3 flagship resorts of the valley: St Luc, Zinal and Grimentz.

We will ride in the footsteps of the local enduro race, the Rock the Besso, on superb singletracks with the turquoise blue Lake Moiry in sight.

A real postcard landscape with the majestic peaks of the Weisshorn, the Matterhorn, the Dent Blanche and the Zinalrothorn at over 4000m as a backdrop.
